Facilities Coordinator/Engineer

Role:

Facilities at SnackNation helps us succeed by ensuring the building and infrastructure are top notch so every team member is more efficient. You will work on projects that improve the facilities we have and help us prepare for the future. You’ll work closely with vendors for maintenance issues and projects, but will pitch in when necessary with general maintenance skills.

You will:

• Help plan and budget office improvement projects like upgrading conference rooms and improving the PA system

• Do general building maintenance that falls outside of the scope of our vendors like fixing tables, chairs, and running power cords to desk

• Work with HR and IT for new hire classes ensuring each new team member has everything they need to succeed like desks, chairs, file cabinets, and access badges

• Update budgets and help negotiate current vendor contracts to make sure resources are being put to their best use

• Future proof our facilities so as we grow all of our facilities needs will be met

You might be a good fit if you:

• Are experienced in both the management and doing of facilities and maintenance work

• Enjoy working on a wide range of problems with a diverse set of team members, vendors, and like getting hands on with projects

• Maintain good working relationships with stakeholders on facilities projects and our vendors

• Are organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently to take projects to completion while also utilizing the best mix of vendors and personal skills to maximize value to the business

• Seek perpetual growth

• Drive best practices in facilities management and maintenance

Projects you’ll work on:

• Office redesign and improvements

• Desk organization, cable management, conference room improvements and efficiency

• Air conditioner settings and optimization to ensure proper temperature in the office across all seasons

• Completion of break fix tickets that come into our facilities help desk
