VentureDevs provides strategy, design, and development services to top startups and global enterprises. We are a diverse team of creative collaborators with ambitious growth goals (we more than tripled our growth this year alone) and are searching for a marketing buff to join the squad as our Marketing Manager. It is the perfect opportunity for a driven self-starter looking to put their well-rounded digital and content marketing skills to the test. In this role you will dive head first into the marketing operations of a global technology startup, combining your creative and analytical skills to execute on strategic marketing initiatives that make a direct impact on our business’s growth. You will be working cross-functionally with members of our marketing, sales, product, and engineering teams. This position is primarily remote, but we meet twice weekly to collaborate, strategize, create, and of course, eat good food!

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage social media content curation, scheduling, engagement, and analysis
  • Web, e-newsletter, and blog content curation and analysis
  • Curate promotional materials and execute on ad campaigns
  • Help prepare press releases and announcement campaigns related to new services or changes in the company
  • Manage the CEO’s content creation initiatives and social media planning
  • Research and keep up-to-date on current market trends and promotional opportunities
  • Strategize on new ways to build our digital presence and increase the success of our marketing initiatives
  • Internal event planning
  • Research and secure attendance for executives at key industry events
  • Proofread and edit blog copy when needed
  • Collaborate with our sales and product teams to align our messaging and optimize our sales-enablement initiatives
  • Work closely with our employer branding and recruitment marketing team to build a cohesive and compelling global brand

What you bring to the team:

  • 2-4 years experience in a B2B content creation or digital marketing role (including direct experience working with social media, email marketing, and digital advertising)
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Great understanding of SEO best practices
  • Enjoy performing market and competitive research and analysis
  • Proven success across the full cycle of marketing from strategy to content creation, promotion, and analysis
  • Ability to align marketing and sales to generate business growth
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Self-starter who requires very little direction
  • A proactive attitude, you take initiative to problem solve and find new solutions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Interest in startups and the technology industry

Bonus if you have:

    • Good understanding of Agile product development
    • Direct experience working at or with agencies or service companies
    • Prior design experience (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)
    • Prior event planning experience
    • Great knowledge of inbound marketing best practices
