Are you NEXT?

As an OTR Dispatcher you’ll be supporting NEXT’s freight business and marketplace by securing loads for asset drivers. You’ll ensure a great experience for NEXT’s clients and drivers. As part of a fast-growing environment, you’ll be contributing to creating the new norm in trucking.

What You'll Do

• Create loads for asset drivers by leveraging brokers and load boards
• Source back-hauls to maximize revenue and productivity 
• Assign loads and monitor freight movement to provide safe, on-time service
• Cultivate strong relationships with assigned fleet
• Report driver performance issues or concerns to appropriate management for resolution
• Maintain open, accurate and timely two-way communication with drivers
• Accountable for driver performance; keeping drivers informed, focused, and motivated through regular check-ins
• Perform any other duties as assigned

What You'll Need

• 3 years OTR truckload dispatch experience required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Deal with customer and driver issues in a polite and professional manner
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
