Next Trucking is hiring an OTR Dispatcher who is interested in making an impact in the trucking marketplace by innovating the industry with a platform that brings drivers and shippers together. We are in search of a team member that can adapt quickly, multitask, and display effective problem solving skills for our drivers. This is a very fast-paced environment and candidates must be able to stay ahead of the curve.

What You Will Do

• Assign loads and monitor freight movement to provide safe, on-time service
• Report driver performance issues or concerns to appropriate management for resolution
• Cultivate strong relationships with assigned fleet
• Maintain open, accurate and timely two-way communication with drivers
• Accountable for driver performance; keeping drivers informed, focused, and motivated through regular discussions
• Perform any other duties as assigned by team

What You’ll Need

• 3 years OTR truckload dispatch experience required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Deal with customer and driver issues in a polite and professional manner
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self motivated with a strong work ethic
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
