WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
An effective client-facing leader who will own function-specific training and excellence standards, while also developing best practices and processes within the Trading function. We are looking for an individual possessing excellent communication, strategic and leadership skills to serve as a coach, functional manager, and senior advisor to the team.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Manage a diverse, complex portfolio of business across all key clients in the LA area
  • Oversee a Trading team of people managers and individual contributors
  • Become a leader in RTB buying strategies, optimization algorithms, and data visualization
  • Become a leader in best practices for the The Trade Desk platform and offer insights on how to improve campaign effectiveness through the platform's functionality. Mentor clients leveraging this expertise.
  • Combine data analysis and client feedback to consult on data, measurement, and optimization strategies and provide solutions for complex campaigns to meet client objectives
  • Help build our trading best practices, including creating training collateral and internal resources
  • Work closely with Product Management and other cross-functional teams to help define features and enhancements to improve the platform
  • Work closely with the client services team to develop and execute an onboarding plan that will make customers successful with our real time buying platform.
  • Understand and effectively communicate The Trade Desk's value proposition, technology, processes, and partnerships, as they relate to growth of current client accounts
  • Help build the Client Services practice, including developing training material, customer facing assets, and internal resources for trading media through our platform
  • Develop local strategies to align company goals and vision with client goals to deepen partnerships and progress the programmatic industry
  • Shaping the future of TTD and programmatic though a vision of enhancing advertiser performance with a focus on better data and measurement


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 5+ years of online ad operations experience required; 3+ years of client-facing experience
  • 5+ year of senior managerial experience and proven ability to scale high performing teams.
  • Experience in working with ad exchanges, aggregators, ad servers, and other optimization platforms
  • Experience in trafficking and optimizing all digital media campaign KPI's including branding, direct response, surveys, incrementally, and lift.
  • Expert experience in Excel including pivot tables, data visualization, and advanced manipulation of complex data sets
  • Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a get-it-done now start-up environment
  • Proven track record of growing accounts by forging a strong relationship with clients, understanding their objectives, and recommending best strategies
  • Effective time management skills - ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter - able to tackle new clients or territories with little guidance
  • Quick learner - able to rapidly grasp new technology and product changes

Our Compensation and Benefits ( for NY, CO, CA, and WA residents only)
At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$108,900 -$199,600
In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year.
