Location: 11340 West Olympic Boulevard Suite 270 Los Angeles, CA 90064 (3-days a week in office, 2-days remote)

Comp range: $100k - $120k

Why this role exists: 

Reports to the CEO. This role exists to effectively scale a movement-driven workforce in Los Angeles for Special X and the families we serve. There are 1000s of parents of children with disabilities in LA who have developed important skills that our families need and 1000s more people in LA that are called to serve kids with disabilities (teachers, social workers, etc). Our platform gives these purpose-driven people the opportunity through a flexible work schedule to impact even more children's lives and to do a job that has deep personal meaning. We need a leader who can help vet, train, onboard and lead a team of purpose-driven people that will consistently kick butt for our families as care coaches and advocates.

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years experience managing and training distributed or remote customer-facing teams.
  • Experience hiring customer-facing teams.
  • Supervisor experience in one or more of the following: healthcare, gig economy, like-minded community organization, social and human services, case management, or developmental disability case management.

Objective Outcomes: 

  • You will onboard and successfully manage 8-10 navigators that consistently deliver NPS 10 experiences for our families.

  • You will develop an operating plan (training, navigator manual, quality tracking) for effectively managing a purpose-driven, flexible workforce.

  • You will manage navigator costs and overall navigator budget to ensure we can deliver quality at scale.
