Position Summary

LeaseLock is seeking a Director, Operations to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to the COO, the DO (Director, Operations) is responsible for the overall success of onboarding and ongoing implementation of the core product for dedicated accounts. The DO is a team player who effectively integrates, motivates and builds relationships with cross-functional team members, key stakeholders, executives, and other individuals or organizations involved with the implementation. The DO demonstrates the ability to understand the operating styles of others as well as client relationships, team dynamics, and adjusts behavior accordingly to succeed. The DO recognizes environmental or cultural nuances and adapts.

As the Director, Operations you will work in close partnership with LeaseLock Account Management, Risk, Product, and Engineering teams. You will be responsible for strategically planning and executing all new account launches which include technical system setup and operational process implementation. You will ensure status, risks, open issues and decisions are tracked and all stakeholders are informed in a timely manner. The DO will drive creation of internal best practices, methodologies, templates, and tools for standardization of new account implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Project management across all new LeaseLock accounts
  • Create, manage and proactively maintain a Project Tracker for each onboarding initiative
  • Track project activities and schedule regular project tracker reports for client
  • Organize and lead regular internal and external meetings to review project tracker, provide status updates and identify & resolve issues
  • Clearly communicate with client and stakeholders on status of all projects
  • Work directly with Account Management, Product, Engineering and other functional teams in LeaseLock to ensure timely delivery of launch implementation
  • Create documentation for new system integration and operational policies to enrich team knowledge base and standardize implementation
  • Actively look for ways to improve process efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with Account Management to identify key client initiatives and implement strategic solutions to meet needs

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a client-facing professional services or consulting role. Experience with SaaS/enterprise platform deployments highly preferred.
  • 2+ years of management experience with direct reports
  • Strong product and process requirements gathering and discovery skills
  • Significant experience in developing and managing complex project plans
  • Experience communicating and presenting to executive-level audiences
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical and business concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to grasp product and technical knowledge quickly
  • Experience with JIRA and Project Management tools similar to Smartsheet, Basecamp, Wrike or others a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong consultative sales skills, relationship building, and customer services skills
  • Strong expertise of multifamily software platforms (RealPage, Yardi, Entrata)
  • Experience with multifamily operations and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and be comfortable with technical product offerings
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, management and career development skills and experience
