We're looking for a Customer Success Manager to join our growing Customer Success team, who enjoys working with large energy companies to drive customer engagement and uptake in energy efficiency and transportation electrification! You’ll have responsibility for the ultimate success of Enervee’s most strategic partners, taking responsibility for the complete post-sales lifecycle of your portfolio from onboarding to ongoing relationship management and expansion.

This role will be based in Los Angeles, California or Burlington, Vermont.

Requirements

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Developing long term strategic relationships with electric and gas utility partners focused on achieving innovative results through the Enervee Choice Engine platform
  • Managing ongoing partner relationships and taking responsibility for onboarding new partners
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of the Enervee solution and communicating with partners about the most relevant features/functionality for their specific business needs
  • Ensuring that Enervee is meeting your partner's objectives working across multiple internal teams and external teams and developing escalation plans when key objectives are not being met
  • Closely collaborating with the Sales, Business Development, Marketing and Regulatory teams to find opportunities for scaling product impacts for partner and upselling strategic, value added solutions
  • Troubleshooting platform requests and identifying new solutions to improve overall satisfaction with our partners by working closely with Product, Data, Engineering and Design teams
  • Organizing weekly and bi-weekly client calls, ensuring alignment on all open requests and product updates as well as tracking towards key client objectives
  • Working closely with Customer Support to efficiently remedy any utility customer support issues and to proactively collaborate on process optimizations
  • Creating and updating support and product materials to assist clients with understanding new product functionality, user process flows, support services and FAQs

What You Need:

  • 5+ years experience managing senior client relationships for SaaS with large enterprises (B2B), focused on customer success objectives: optimizing adoption, retention and renewals - big plus for experience with large investor owned and municipal utilities - B2C experience also a plus
  • Passion for saving energy and having a positive impact on the environment
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills
  • Fluent with SaaS products and supporting CRM and Customer Success tools
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations with compelling messages to technology and business audiences
  • Ability to deliver very high-quality customer-service and support to your partners, prioritizing and managing a multitude of requests
  • Experience in a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment with the ability to multi-task across many accounts and competing priorities
  • Adept at understanding partner needs and crafting personalized/creative solutions
  • Translating technical concepts into customer friendly solutions
  • Mac-savvy and proficient with typical CS tools, Google Analytics, Looker, Google Apps and Keynote
  • Understanding of digital marketing and ecommerce

Enervee is a remote-first, distributed team, located in 27 states. Our HQ is in the trendy Abbot Kinney Blvd, a mile long strip of the latest fashion, art and food. Venice, CA is known for its canals, beach, and ocean front walk - a 2.5 mile pedestrian promenade.
