Customer Service Representative
Position Overview
In this role the Customer Service Rep (Contract) will be on the ground floor to create a world class customer service organization that will be a key pillar to the company’s long-term growth. As an ambitious and energetic customer service rep your role will be a little different from a traditional customer service job. Supporting our customers is a cornerstone of the Ecosense business and one of our greatest strengths. From a customer perspective what we’re looking for is someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, can build relationships quickly and that has a collaborative mindset. Having someone that is proven, reliable and willing to go the extra mile for the client is critical. Internally along with being the voice of our customers working with our Regional Sales Managers and having that ‘feet on the street’ presence in the corporate HQ for them. Supporting the RSM by providing quotes, answering product questions, processing returns, handling pricing are examples of the type of support that they would need. In this role your contribution will be to help grow the EcoSense business through partnering with our customers and RSM’s in being that added layer of support.
The Position
Job Duties
- Orders to include: entry, changes, status, returns, credit approvals, freight forward, address, shipping method, deal pricing approval, commissions and RSM region allocation.
- Credit: new customer set ups, validation and general issues
- Shipping: estimations and managing any inquiries that are relevant to shipping
- Returns: Issuing RMA’s and handling any warranty issues
- Product: Providing answers and guidance/education around existing product, new product launches, product updates, marketing collateral, and general inquiries.
- Manages all expedite requests
- Answering all inventory and product lead time requests
- Works with the customer and RSM to provide quotes and pricing

Qualifications
- Customer focused with a can do’ mentality.
- Position competencies: Team player with good people skills, ability to problem solve that offers solutions, ability to partner internally and externally, self-motivated, excellent time management skills, organized and can make decisions on their own.
- Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels with the customer and the EcoSense team
- Ensure timely and accurate communications with all clients
- Highly motivated to succeed in a performance-driven environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Experience with CRM platforms
- Lighting experience preferred but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
We're still in start-up mode with a relatively flat organization so you'll need to be willing and able to get key initiatives off the ground
