Beyond Limits seeks a Cloud Systems Administrator to assist us with our cloud infrastructure and other IT functions. In this role, you will assist in the day-to-day tasks of IT related to cloud operations. Must be professional, detail-oriented, and reliable. Ability to work independently and be a self-starter as well as motivated contributor. You must also be patient and polite when working with others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Under general direction, the Cloud Systems Administrator is responsible for:

• Ability to work independently with guidance on projects involving automation using
  • Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation

• Demonstrated proficiently:
  • Python (Boto), PowerShell
• Familiarity with Kubernetes both AWS EKS  and Azure AKS and Docker Containerization.
• Automate Idm management, the authoritative source being AD/AAD and the Microsoft Office 365 tenant.
• Follow and implement standardization of cloud infrastructure environments for both IaaS and App services
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all platforms, resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs
• AWS & AWS services: VPCs, EC2, IAM, EKS (Kubernetes) CodeDeploy, S3, ELB, AutoScalingGroups (ASGs), EBS, RDS, complex IAM work/cross account, Route 53, CloudWatch, CloudFront, CloudTrail, SNS, SQS, GuardDuty/WAF’s
• Collaborate with other members of the IT Operations team on shared technical knowledge and experience. Also assist with HelpDesk tickets
• Collaborate with other departments and employees for cloud-based SaaS implementation.
• Support, train, interface and participate with peers, users and vendors as needed
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower human intervention time on repetitive tasks
• Deploy applications and controls as part of the configuration/patch management lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Network Engineering or related field
• 2+ years’ experience with cloud infrastructure providers
• An understanding of network topology and infrastructure
• Demonstrated ability to script in bash, Azure CLI, AWS CLI, PowerShell ,  Python(Boto).

Please note: Due to COVID-19, all positions at Beyond Limits are currently remote. However, once our offices are fully reopened, most work is expected to be performed in-person at our main headquarters in Glendale, CA.
