That's where you come in.

As Central Player Support Analyst, you'll dive head-first into the vast goodness of our data warehouse and surface with well-constructed insights that will help Rioters make more player-focused decisions. You'll provide a unique voice for players by using top-notch analytic skills to translate their collective behavior into narratives that describe their experiences, both awesome and not-awesome. Armed with these narratives, you'll inform decisions across Riot's multiple regional player support teams and ensure that we make good on our mission to become the most player-focused game company in the world.

You are:

• Player-focused: as a gamer yourself, you know the importance of listening to player needs, especially the implicit needs that can only be uncovered by analyzing and understanding player data
• An analyst assassin: numbers are your weapon of choice, and you count statistics, probability, and algebra among your favorite tools of the trade; no bonus – this is where you shine, 1 or 0
• Technically adept: you don't believe in language barriers; you already know or are down to learn SQL, Python, or any other language that makes getting to the data more efficient; bonus points for front-end languages like Java or PHP
• Adaptable: you recognize that situations change, complications arise, and you're ok with that; you're coolly flexible and able to handle whatever comes your way
• An equipped communicator: you're best in class when it comes to conveying ideas, be it explaining the importance of a project to your team or explaining complex analyses to a statistical layperson; in all cases you're clear, concise, easy to listen to, and hard to miss
• Educated and Experienced: you'll need at least a bachelor's degree in Economics, Computer Science, Math, or a related discipline; with at least 3 years of experience in analytics, consumer insights or operations strategy.

You will:

• Work in teams or fly solo to accurately aggregate and analyze petabytes of game and player support data in preparation for deeper analysis and/or reporting
• Organize the data you've collected into reliable intel that informs Rioters about areas where we can improve the player experience
• Work with decision-makers to understand their goals, identify opportunities to use player data more effectively, and present findings as you make them
• Combine your knowledge of data analysis with principles of operations management to inform player support decisions on project prioritization, staffing, and KPI
