Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this Billing Assistant role is focused on managing the customer help desk and phone line, according to strict SLAs while maintaining a high level of standardization and accuracy. The Billing Assistant is relentlessly detail-oriented and organized; quickly able to identify and correct inconsistencies across multiple apps without breaking stride. Ideal candidates should be comfortable communicating clearly with customers, and providing assistance with application access, as well as billing and payment questions.

What You'll Do

  • Manage Customer Help Desk Inbox
  • Respond timely to customer questions
  • Assist customers with application access issues, billing issues, and questions
  • Review customer payment history and assist in providing refunds as necessary
  • Manage Finance Help Phone Line
  • Similar to finance inbox - assist customer with questions and concerns when they reach out to the finance phone line
  • Answer customer phone calls to assist with urgen issues, call back customers to follow up on any outstanding issues

Who You Are

  • Detail-oriented, thorough, regimented and able to self-organize

  • Tech Savvy - you’ll need to be able to pick up the tools we use to operate and keep track of data
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Energized by completing daily to-do lists
  • Computer proficient
  • Spreadsheet and Google Suite proficient
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Experience with Salesforce, Stripe, or subscription management platforms is a plus
  • Ideal applicants will have (or be working on) a Bachelor's degree and have 1+ years of experience. Finance experience not required.
