We are currently seeking an eager and exceptional Administrative Assistant/Paralegal in our Santa Monica office. The person in this position will provide a wide spectrum of administrative support to corporate/transactional attorneys in the Business and Legal Affairs Department. The ideal candidate will be a responsible, flexible and resourceful self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of tasks and projects.
Job Functions:
Perform executive assistant duties including booking travel, submitting expense reports, answering telephones, organizing meetings, managing calendars, preparing and sending correspondenceSupport in short and long term projects, ranging from word processing assistance to research and other substantive tasksLiaise with IT, office services and other internal personnel to resolve day-to-day issues and handle administrative mattersDraft standard form agreements and other legal documentsReview and summarize contracts; track contract terms and optionsMaintain charts, databases, memoranda, correspondence and other documentsMaintain an organized and up-to-date filing system; create physical and electronic files; search and retrieve files on an ongoing basisOther duties as assigned by supervisors

Experience:
Prior experience in an office setting is a plus, particularly in a business and legal affairs or contracts group
Education:
- BA or BS degree from an accredited college or university
