Storied is hiring an Administration & Finance Manager, based in Los Angeles. 


Your Role

As Administration & Finance Manager, you will partner closely with our CEO and other team members to support administration, finance, human resources, IT and operations. You’ll support global project/resource management, while optimizing our systems and processes for growth and scale. You embrace analytical discipline, in a people-centered manner. What You’ll Do Every Day:

  • Manage, create and implement organizational procedures, systems, and workflows

  • Organize creation of Operations Manual with revised SOPs for scalable execution

  • Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability

  • Manage financial reporting (including invoicing and accounts payable)

  • Partner with CEO on planning for growth, expansion, and requisite requirements

  • Coordinate HR management, compliance, benefits administration

  • Manage recruiting pipeline, systems, and processes including onboarding

  • Coordinate relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors

  • Manage IT/SaaS systems, 3rd party vendors, and ensure effective implementation

  • Support project management, resource planning, and problem-solving

  • Coordinate strategic planning, KPI data tracking, reporting, and analysis

  • Solve problems in a principled manner in collaboration with the rest of the team

  • Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations

  • Manage overflow work and assist when needed on any project




Experience & Skills:


  • 4-10 years relevant experience in startup administration, finance, operations

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities to ensure all tasks are completed on target

  • Obsessed with systems design, efficiency, reducing friction, optimizing for flow

  • Comfortable with spreadsheets - tables, checklists, hierarchies, and formulas

  • Functional literacy of financial statements, business reports, and quality assurance

  • Superior attention to detail and ability to provide accurate reporting

  • Familiarity with business functions including finance, administration, HR and IT

  • Experience with business tech systems including website, SaaS, cybersecurity, etc 

  • Proficiency with project management tools, planning, and reporting

  • Self-motivated, independent, and a quick learner with a growth mindset

  • Strong people and relationship skills, ability to create rapport and trust with anyone

  • Ability to interact in a manner that shows tact, diplomacy, and professionalism

  • Responsive and sensitive to internal and external client demands and deadlines

This is a full-time position, with immediate onboarding/start date and opportunities for growth. We’re currently WFH due to COVID-19, but hope to return to a new Los Angeles office within the year. You will report to our CEO and founder.
