Sr. Marketing Manager
Ideal candidate would have the confidence to manage multiple Planning & Buying agencies to navigate the intersection of traditional offline media and digital channels, and be open to test & scale emerging media platforms and technology. This position would report directly to the Sr. Director of Marketing & Brand Management, along with exposure to C-level executives.
What you’ll do:
- Provide ongoing strategic recommendations on TV and Radio/Podcast spend, scheduling, creative rotation, network selection; work with Agencies to implement approved strategies
- Negotiate LegalZoom-direct TV and Radio/Podcast ad time buys, and other appropriate projects
- Manage cross-channel data collection for internal and third party analysis
- Assist with branded content, sponsorships & integrations
- Assist with delivery of TV & Radio creative assets – in terms of specs, approval and legal review
- Research and test emerging technologies for audience and behavioral targeting and buying
- Provide timely reporting around offline channel performance
- Help optimize spend based on maximizing profitable growth
- Resolve & approve invoicing, and manage contracts and media buy approvals
- Update key executives with trends and macro-changes in offline advertising
Qualifications:
- ~5 years in media buying/planning at an Agency or in-house – strong understanding of offline media metrics and nomenclature
- In depth knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint
- Self-starter who needs little supervision
- Confident in front of superiors – ability to concisely present an idea or recommendation
- Healthy sense of curiosity – spirit of inquiry
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong at prioritizing the urgent vs. the important
