Sr. Manager of Demand Generation

FloQast seeks to hire a Senior Manager of Demand Generation. In this role, you’ll own the development and implementation of FloQast’s demand generation strategy, helping us win new customers and upsell existing customers. You’ll work with the leaders of Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to set a vision and drive to its resolution. You’ll launch and scale new demand generation channels, nurture prospects in various stages of the funnel, optimize and further build our marketing technology stack, and ensure that the sales team is set up for success with a rich pool of high-quality inbound leads. You’ll partner closely with the rest of the Marketing team to launch new campaigns, refine our value proposition and deliver efficient growth. You will have two others on your team that will help you manage database marketing, events, third party and other programs.
The Senior Manager of Demand Generation will be tasked with the primary goal of creating pipeline growth and optimizing FloQast’s marketing funnel performance. You should have strong experience executing and delivering successful lead generation programs, ideally in a SaaS-based company. You are results-oriented collaborator, who can work closely across the organization with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams. You should have proven skills in organic and paid lead generation, sound lead management practices including lead nurturing and scoring, and be comfortable managing to marketing automation best practices.

This is a hands-on, strategic role that requires someone with a thorough understanding of demand generation, marketing platforms and program analytics. The ideal candidate is a highly-motivated self-starter who can maintain a balance between being strategic and executing at high quality and pace. You have a bias towards action with an ability to ruthlessly prioritize. You are comfortable with data and have strong focus on trackability, measurement, and ROI. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Generate and accelerate sales lead demand and create sales pipeline
  • Oversee a team of two marketers to drive effective and creative lead generation campaigns using digital and in-person tactics
  • Work closely with the entire marketing team to incorporate content, SEO/SEM, social, website, events, and more, into cohesively integrated campaigns
  • Create and maintain metrics on marketing activities, effectiveness, and business impact. Continuously improve campaign strategies by collaborating with others in marketing and sales to understand and encompass the buyer journey. Optimize lead flow, data hygiene, lead scoring, and nurture models that align with industry best practices and perform above benchmarks
  • Establish and maintain scalable processes and systems that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management
  • Forge strong communications with sales and customer success teams, and support lead flow service level agreements (SLAs) between marketing and sales

Desired Qualities and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree required (preferably BA or BS)
  • At least 5 years of demand generation experience
  • Experience working at a SaaS company is desired; B2B experience preferred
  • Expertise in end-to-end campaign development, execution, and measurement
  • Proficiency in marketing automation systems (such as Pardot/Marketo) and integration with Salesforce and other data technologies
  • Background/knowledge of accounting is desired but not required
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple people, and projects with tight deadlines
  • Creative and innovative thinker; when presented with a problem, comes up with innovative ways to address
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills to interpret data and translate it into action
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with close attention to quality and detail
  • Strong leadership skills; able to mentor and drive a team to achieve desired results
  • Highly energetic, positive and enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal skills and collaborative orientation
  • Ability to multi-task and execute in a fast-paced environment, often with changing priorities
