We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our Society6 Marketing team at our Santa Monica office.

You’ll Report To: Director of Brand & Content

A typical day as a Social Media Manager might include:


  • Developing and publishing branded content on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest
  • Building and maintaining a robust influencer marketing strategy and managing all campaign elements from ideation to execution to reporting
  • Managing relationships with influencer agencies and third-party partners
  • Working with copywriters and designers to ensure social media content is informative and appealing
  • Directly engaging with our community through all Society6 social media channels, responding to their questions and comments to maximize engagement
  • Analyze social content and stories and gain competitive intelligence with weekly and monthly reporting 
  • Staying ahead of key industry trends, best practices, and competitive insights and emerging branded content trends. Identifying and proposing new opportunities appropriate for Society6
  • Discovering new influencer talent for collaborations, new content, and campaigns

You will be successful if you are an aesthetically-minded, fun and curious team player who is always down to try new things and is committed to growth—both creatively and numerically. 

What You Have:

  • At least 5+ years experience managing influencer marketing campaigns and branded content creation.
  • Experience running social media for other brands, preferably e-commerce
  • An eye for creative storytelling and understanding of brand-building campaigns
  • A love for art, a strong understanding of aesthetics and an eye for creative storytelling 
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational, project management along with excellent interpersonal written/oral communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a hands-on, fast paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Not afraid to wear multiple hats—no job being too small or too large.
  • A sense of humor and a desire to work efficiently in an informal environment.
