Senior Digital Media Buyer
System1 specializes in paid traffic acquisition using leading data science techniques, growing audiences for our publishing sites and search engines across the globe. We are looking for an Ad Buyer to manage audience acquisition to our publishing sites with the goal of growth and profit generation. Our teams utilize all paid advertising channels, and welcome experience with Display, Native, Paid Social & Search, or Programmatic platforms (or combination thereof).
Our in-house Ad Buyers partner with analytics, software engineering and UI teams to develop ads and deliver audiences to our sites with data-driven strategies, relying heavily on experimentation and testing. You will manage every stage of campaign performance (copy creation, testing, launch & optimization, lead gen & growth), and work with large budgets and industry KPIs like CPA, CPC, and ROAS to optimize in a bidded marketplace.

The Role You Will Have
- Work with a large team of Digital Media Buyers to launch and optimize paid ad campaigns aimed at new user acquisition
- Produce engaging ad copy and image selection based on data-driven audience insights
- Develop effective acquisition strategies for campaigns at scale, focused on growth and lead generation
- Work with engineering and editorial teams to optimize landing pages based on user engagement data
- Suggest and develop new strategies for campaigns based on data and testing
- Analyze what marketing channels (Search, Shopping, Display, etc) would be most effective at meeting business goals
- Optimize campaigns with large budgets in a bidded marketplace
What You Will Bring
- Experience buying ads on Display, Native, Paid Social and/or Search platforms
- Experience with industry tools & ad networks (Marin, Kenshoo, Google Display Network, Facebook Ad Manager, Bing Ads, Outbrain, Taboola, DFP, etc.)
- Ability to create engaging ad copy and image selection based on data and thorough testing
- Experience optimizing for buy-side KPIs (CPC, CPA, ROAS, etc.)
- Experience managing campaigns in a bidded marketplace
- Working with complex datasets to understand performance and drive optimization strategies
- Ability to manipulate and interpret data using Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas, etc.)
