We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, SEO to join our Marketing team, reporting directly into the SVP of Marketing.

This position reports to the SVP of Marketing and is responsible for successfully planning, executing and reporting on B2B and B2C SEO initiatives that meet goals for content, sales and monetization. This is a strategic and hands-on role and he/she will serve as the subject matter expert on SEO. This individual will be up to date on best SEO practices to ensure organic traffic to the website is maintained and improved. This is an individual contributor role which requires in-depth technical knowledge, and the ability to effectively work with the Technology and Creative department; therefore strong communication skills are must. Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize and execute best practices around website architecture, UI/UX, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for relevant keywords.
  • Grow organic traffic and revenue inline with forecasts and business objectives, including weekly optimization of categories, subcategories and campaigns.
  • Manage and execute SEO strategies/initiatives for traditional search, mobile, video and image search. Develop internal linking strategies to increase PageRank distribution
  • Manage the relationship with SEO agency/ platform.
  • Interpret data from various sources and drive decisions and resource investment based on data. Perform keyword research to identify growth opportunities.
  • Report and evaluate on all technical aspects of SEO delivery, clearly specifying requirements and changes that need to be made across digital platforms to improve SEO performance.
  • Analyze competitors and potential partners to identify opportunities for outreach/link-building.
  • Develop and publish SEO-focused reporting and analysis.
  • Identify requirements and set goals and objectives in line with larger company strategic initiatives.
  • Keep up to date on all new SEO developments

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Results and ROI driven
  • BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Communications, Engineering, Business or related degree
  • 4-6 years of experience with SEO, content development/ optimization
  • Experience with SEO platforms such as Conductor or Brightedge a plus
  • Experience with mobile websites is a must
  • Excellent analytical and statistical skills
  • Project management skills
  • Experienced in leading cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong communicator comfortable interacting with technical and non-technical individuals
  • Ability to write and communicate functional specifications
  • Technical knowledge of website architecture (experience with HTML Markup, CSS, JavaScript, XML).
  • Innovative thinker and creative problem solver
