About the Senior Manager, Demand Generation at Headspace:

The Senior Manager, Demand Generation will play a critical role in helping bring Headspace to more companies by developing and leading our B2B lead generation efforts. As the first dedicated demand gen marketing hire and a foundational member of the team, you will build and manage demand generation channels, nurture prospects, optimize our marketing technology stack, and constantly measure to optimize the funnel and improve ROI. This role requires strong strategic thinking, a data-driven approach to testing, learning, optimizing, as well as hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, we’re looking for a unique combination of a leader who can build strategy and plan, present internal business case to management, and get in the weeds and execute as a do-er. You will be the resident expert on all things Demand Generation for Headspace B2B.


This role is open to either Santa Monica or San Francisco.

How your skills and passion will come to life at Headspace:

  • Build and execute demand gen plan that aligns with business priorities and drives success and learnings for future scale and ROI
  • Generate and accelerate sales pipeline through lead generation and nurture programs
  • Develop channels and campaigns across content marketing, email, SEO/SEM, paid ads, in-person events, and more
  • Optimize our marketing technology stack and data quality to facilitate campaigns, drive efficiency, and develop reporting
  • Partner with SDR and Sales to optimize lead flow and conversion rates
  • Partner with cross-functional teams for support on design, content, SEO, and social
  • Own forecasting model to inform budgeting and hiring needs

What you’ve accomplished:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B demand generation, SaaS preferred
  • Track record of increasing lead flow and sales pipeline 
  • Strong knowledge of demand generation best practices and trends
  • Ability to roll up sleeves and achieve results with a very small team
  • Experience working with a marketing automation system (Hubspot or others) in conjunction with Salesforce
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with demonstrated success in effectively driving results 
  • Self-motivated with a very strong attention to detail and a bias towards action
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
