We are seeking a talented Retention Marketing Manager to oversee our email, in-app and push communication strategies. You should have a unique combination of data skills, creativity, an eye for design, the ability to write, and be well-versed in the women’s luxury fashion category. You will be responsible for managing our email program, promotional calendar, push strategy, and maintaining and growing our subscriber list.

For this position, deep familiarity with fashion brands and trends is required. This can be from a personal passion or professional experience. 

This role reports directly to the Director of Growth.

You will:

  • Utilize quantitative analysis and qualitative customer feedback to develop activation and retention communication strategies
  • Ensure that content is reflective of the Tradesy brand, and keeps the Tradesy brand aligned and consistent.
  • Manage, test, and optimize email and push to maximize conversion rates, revenue, while minimizing list churn
  • Execute the scheduling and testing of various email/push promotions
  • Measure, analyze, and effectively communicate campaign performance to leadership on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis 
  • Ensure email deliverability through industry best practices
  • Continually innovate new ways to drive value for customers and users, and model the ROI of your ideas

You have:

  • 5 + years of experience developing retention and activation strategies (ecommerce space a plus)
  • Fluency in retention kpi’s
  • Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills through a results-driven, KPI-centric approach. The ability to interpret analytics, communicate results and formulate strategy
  • Proven experience with data-driven segmentation, personalization, and targeting strategies
  • Deep knowledge in email best practices, including design, working knowledge of HTML, messaging, and deliverability
  • Experience with in-app and push notification marketing 
  • Experience working with various Email Service Providers (ESPs) and managing email campaigns.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize amongst competing priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrated experience in Marketing
