The Programmatic Marketing Manager is responsible for the implementation of daily management and optimization of performance and user acquisition programmatic marketing programs in paid search and social media. This position will assist in strategy and planning for driving scale, growth, profit and optimization for clients in the banking and credit verticals. A thorough, hands on knowledge of Google’s Double Click Ad Products (DBM & DCM), AdWords and Facebook Power Editor is required. A critical eye for detail and a love for data analysis is a must. Experience with online video campaigns, programmatic/real-time bidding (RTB) and accounts that focus on ROI is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the day-to-day management of assigned programmatic marketing campaigns and optimization on hitting revenue goals, target GPM while meeting clients’ KPIs/quality leads.
  • Work with product, testing and analytics teams to continuously improve performance, LTV, CPA and GPM. Ideate and collaborate with product, testing and analytics with recommendations on improving performance, increasing scale and optimizing towards LTV, CPA and GPM through landing page tests, conversion funnel testing and creative tests.
  • Create, manage and analyze paid search (CPA, CPC, and CPM) campaigns across search engines, networks, websites and social media platforms to ensure acquisition and conversion goals are met
  • Drive continued optimization of Direct Response campaigns through performance analysis, ad copy testing, quality score improvement, keyword management, landing page testing, new product testing, etc
  • Schedule monthly meetings with design and testing to provide input on landing pages, user flows, call to action, copy, layout and other optimizations to improve performance metrics.
  • Summarize, report and optimize online campaign delivery and performance metrics on weekly and monthly basis for both individual campaigns and in aggregate.
  • Benchmark competitors to ensure we stay current with developing digital strategies as well as stay abreast of best practices.
  • Identify new products and platforms to test funding the growth and scalability of the banking and credit verticals.
  • Communicates with media representatives to negotiate the best placement and rates, and to ensure highest value-add, and optimal use of budgeted funds.
  • Keeps current on media trends, attends industry conferences and encourages innovation/creativity throughout all projects.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4-7 years related experience required
  • Extensive experience purchasing and managing a variety of online media campaigns (banner, social media, advertorials, native, etc.).
  • Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities, competing priorities and changing needs of client/department.
  • Strong attention to detail and master of media math.
  • Experience working in a lead generation environment that is goal derived.
  • Thorough understanding of digital creative strategy development.
  • Strong decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Enthusiasm for translating data into actionable insight relevant to marketing program objectives.
  • Experience with various deal structures including CPM, CPA, CPC and knowledge of the unique nuances and structural characteristics of campaigns.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with campaign management/ad serving technology: Double Click, DART, Double Click Bid Manager, AdWords or Facebook Power Editor. etc

Located in the South Bay, very close to Manhattan Beach! There are plenty of restaurants and parks here. We are very close to Downtown El Segundo.
