In all things we do, we hate normal — in fact, we will diligently avoid normalcy in all of our marketing assets, collateral, and messaging. You will be in charge of educating all market segments on specific current, new and upcoming features.

Our product is unique in that it’s highly customizable - it can be used for use cases ranging from very simple to highly complex. It will be your job to work with product management, sales, engineering, marketing, and research to fully understand customer needs, inform product decisions, and communicate feature delivery internally and externally.

Get ready to focus on writing incredible copy landing pages, customized email marketing automations, branding efforts, user behavior models and ongoing user education. You love making informed and data-driven plans to drive adoption of product features, while developing marketing plans and strategies with other marketing managers.

The Role

  • Create truly phenomenal and powerful messaging for landing pages, email campaign content, ad copy, and social posts for specific market segments.
  • Measure, analyze, and optimize all touch points of the customer journey through data-analysis and data-driven decisions based to create customized marketing strategies based on feature adoption, product usage, and acquisition channels.
  • Drive product synchronicity across Marketing, Product, and Engineering departments to build ClickUp's communications strategy and compelling messaging to drive awareness &consideration, as well as adoption, among existing users and customers.
  • Define target buyer and user segments for ClickUp features to drive marketing strategy among targeted marketing campaigns which drive ongoing awareness, preference, purchase and adoption.
  • Develop value propositions, messaging, case studies, and collateral that supports engagement across enterprise and SMB ClickUp teams. You will lead the translation of technology capabilities into impactful product marketing solutions.

Qualifications

  • Create exceptional, persuasive, and simple messaging and branding.
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years experience in product marketing, product management, research, or marketing in the software, SaaS, technology, or project management space.
  • Experience with customer engagement tools, marketing automation, product analytics or similar technology.
  • Ability to understand technical product releases and translating into actionable marketing strategies and deliverables.
  • Ability to create persona-based content for ClickUp users, senior technical and non-technical decision-makers and executives.

Desirable

  • Power-user with project management software and other productivity tools in order to understand the pain points of our customers.
  • Ability to thrive in our fast-paced, ever-changing, and highly collaborative environment; and assisting in other marketing, customer support, and company activities as needed.
  • Stay on top of industry trends by attending industry events, monitoring competitors and partner activity, reviewing customer feedback & market trends regularly.
  • Experience with ClickUp, Hubspot, Drip and Pendo are a plus.
