Product Marketing Manager, Developer Ecosystem
We’re looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our Product Marketing team, focused on our developer product suite: Snap Kit, Ad Kit and Games! Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you will partner closely with our Product Management, Partnerships and Sales teams to scale our developer platform and grow its adoption within the developer community. The ideal candidate must have a solid marketing background and a deep understanding of the mobile gaming & app industry. You will need to demonstrate a true vision for how to bring developer products to market, be at ease in a fast moving and ambiguous environment, and showcase excellent problem solving and communication skills in order to drive impact across different teams. You will conduct research and analysis to understand developers needs, identify key market trends, and lead marketing initiatives to capture growth opportunities. You will use your knowledge of the mobile app & games industry and analytical mindset to properly inform the roadmap, build global go-to-market strategies, and coordinate ongoing marketing efforts to grow awareness, understanding, and adoption of Snap Kit and Games Platform.
What you’ll do:
Develop and execute global go to market strategies and plans, including product positioning, narrative, internal communications and marketing activations
Roll out advertising features by leading cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Communications, Sales, Partnerships, Community Support, and Localization
Lead extensive market research to identify new opportunities through structured analysis, market trends, competitive benchmarking, quantitative & qualitative feedback in order to help inform the product roadmap
Build frameworks and processes to structure conversations, create & socialize marketing initiatives, and drive alignment across teams and leadership
Work cross-functionally with various stakeholder groups, both within Snapchat and across partner organizations, with minimal guidance
Minimum qualifications:
6+ years professional experience in product marketing, product management, internet technology, strategy consulting, corporate banking or other relevant digital marketing experience
Strong understanding of the marketing industry dynamics, from brands & agencies to digital businesses and local stores
Solid track record in launching products & drive global adoption to B2B audiences
BA/BS from an undergraduate institution in business, economics, psychology, or another related area of study, MBA preferred
Preferred qualifications:
Understanding of mobile games & apps, and their different growth levers
Knowledge of API/SDK partnerships & ecosystem
