About the Position 

The Foursquare product marketing team plays a massive role in the go-to-market strategy and helping to grow the business by bringing new products and features to market. This role will own the GTM strategy and product marketing of Foursquare’s analytics product line that is used by millions of users and by some of the biggest brands. The product marketing team works extremely closely with many different functions of the business - including Marketing, Product, Sales, Customer Success, and more. 

The role reports to the Director of Product Marketing.

Location: Foursquare has offices in NYC, Chicago, LA, San Francisco, and Seattle. All Foursquare employees have the flexibility to work in the office or from home, as much or as little as you’d like. Candidates located in cities not listed above will be considered if they are rockstar candidates and can prove they can effectively work remotely. 

What you’ll need:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in or have a hunger to learn B2B marketing in the data & technology sectors.
  • Ability to market to and deeply understand technical personas - think data scientists, data analysts and developers.
  • Passion for writing and creating content, and have a POV on how we can improve our content marketing and demand generation programs
  • An analytical mindset that enjoys using data and information to inform your thinking and strategy.
  • Perhaps most importantly, curiosity and a love of asking thoughtful questions to learn and grow.
  • [bonus points] knowledge of the location, geospatial, or GIS industry landscape.
