Product Marketing Manager, Mobile App Promotion
We’re looking for an experienced Product Marketer to join Team Snapchat and focus on Snapchat’s performance products for advertisers! Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you will partner closely with our Product Management and Sales teams to launch products and grow their adoption. As a Product Marketer, you will conduct research and analysis to understand advertising solutions, identify key market trends, and spearhead initiatives to capture growth opportunities. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a solid vision for how to bring products to market, be at ease in a fast moving and ambiguous environment, and showcase excellent problem solving and communication skills in order to drive impact across different teams. You will use your market knowledge and analytical mindset to properly inform the roadmap, build global go-to market strategies, and coordinate ongoing marketing efforts to grow awareness, understanding, and adoption of Snapchat’s performance advertising solutions.
What you’ll do:
Be a recognized expert in Mobile App advertising and collaborate with a group of Product Managers and Product Marketers to develop global go-to market strategies and plans, including product positioning, narrative, internal communications, and marketing activation strategies
Develop extensive market research to identify new opportunities through qualitative and quantitative analysis, constantly assess the capabilities and value proposition of our ad products via market trends, advertiser feedback, and competitive benchmarking in order to influence our monetization strategy
Drive successful cross functional alignment on go-to-market strategy and planning and track success metrics accordingly
Inspire and educate both internal and external teams on Snapchat’s performance solutions for advertisers
Resolve moderate to complex campaign issues in scope in a timely and productive manner, and proactively identify and implement process improvements
Provide strategic guidance and support during all phases of the sales cycle (pre-sale, on-boarding, and renewal)
Build frameworks and processes to structure conversations, create and socialize marketing initiatives, and drive collaboration across teams and leadership
A team player who can successfully work cross-functionally with various stakeholder groups, both within Snapchat and across partner organizations, with minimal guidance
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or other related area of study
5+ years of experience in product marketing, internet technology, or other relevant digital marketing work
Preferred qualifications:
At ease with data analytics tools, such as Looker and Excel, and 3rd party research tools like App Annie
Previous experience working at a Mobile App Platform or Mobile App Analytics company
Comfortable working with Data Science or Data Engineering teams
Tracked record of public speaking experience
Strong understanding of the mobile app ecosystem, including auction dynamics, mobile app measurement and attribution, programmatic buying, and mobile ad networks
Solid track record in launching products and driving global adoption to thousands of customers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail
Strong public speaking skills and comfortable presenting to groups of 100 - 500+
