SUMMARY
WELL Health is seeking an accomplished Product Marketing Associate with a healthcare background, strong analytical skills, and research experience. This is an opportunity to solidify our market space and identify potential opportunities by becoming a subject matter expert in healthcare customer needs, industry trends, and pain points. As an integral member of a hyper-growth company, you will own WELL Health’s understanding of our market space, identify potential opportunities by developing deep expertise in buyers and segments, customer needs, industry trends, and persona pain points to inform messaging, positioning, and Go-to-Market launches to deliver the plan critical to helping future customers understand the full value of WELL Health’s unified communication hub.
The Product Marketing Associate reports to the Director, Product Marketing, will support vertical Product Marketing Managers, and work cross-departmentally with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Client Success. The research and content you generate will make you the subject matter expert on buyers, segments, the competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
This is an exciting opportunity to apply your healthcare knowledge to the fast-growing patient communication space as a key cross-functional operator to support the Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with Product and Sales to generate and maintain a library of insights around healthcare submarkets, industry trends, buyer needs, win/loss analyses, competitors, and the purchasing decision process.
- Develop buyer and user personas to create shared understanding of the pain points, value props, and how to effectively reach each persona.
- Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape to develop playbooks and positioning.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing Managers to conduct qualitative and quantitative research to solicit feedback from buyers, and align WELL Health activity with an informed understanding of market sentiment.
- Partner with Sales Enablement on educational materials to be used across our sales force.
- Identify current and upcoming industry trends that present new opportunities for the WELL Health product to be used and work with key stakeholders to incorporate those into Go-To-Market plans.
- Work with Brand Marketing to apply research to brand messaging and positioning based on buyer pain points and the unique value WELL Health provides to the market.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years experience in healthcare (Experience in the Patient Access, Clinical Care Management, Operations, or Patient Communications space would be ideal)
- Minimum of 2 years in a research, consulting, market intelligence, or business analyst roles
- Proven ability to collect and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to develop expertise on customer and market pain points
- Ability to communicate insights and advocate for a focused course of action
- Experience presenting to clients and conducting customer interviews
- Ability to balance shifting priorities within the context of higher level business goals and ambitious department goals
- Ability to learn new products and evaluate them from the market’s perspective
- SaaS experience in marketing, sales, or customer success a plus!
LOCATION
WELL Health is headquartered in Santa Barbara, CA. Today, all WELL Health positions are remote, and we are looking forward to when our company returns to in-office work. For this role, we are open to candidates that are looking for a permanently remote role. #LI-Remote
