We are helping millions save when they shop online, and we're hiring! We are actively seeking a Performance Creative Lead, Social to join the Marketing Team in our Los Angeles office.

About The Role:

The Performance Creative Lead, Social will work with a team of creative copywriters and video editors to ideate and create a wide range of digital content for social media platforms. The ideal candidate understands all the best practices, styles, and techniques that drive the best converting ads on social media today. They have experience guiding, ideating, and executing work for a variety of direct marketing brands. We’re looking for someone who can think strategically and constantly find new ways of communicating with our consumers and innovating the way we execute creative. What You’ll Do:

As a Performance Creative Lead, Social at Honey, you will:

• Coach and develop creatives into strong thinkers and problem solvers
• Consistently inspire and guide teams to unearth new insights and find new ways to communicate product benefits to our consumers
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and workshops designed toward unleveling craft and thinking
• Create performance-based video content for social media platforms that engages our audiences and delivers business results
• Help organize production/shoots and directing the work so we get to the best end product
• Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to ideate new content and take ideas from rough thoughts to clear, concise, finished creative
• Understand and work within project parameters: Business unit goals and requirements, internal goals, technical/budget/time constraints
• Take data from previous video ad campaigns and improve the creative to optimize performance

About You:

• 5+ years of experience in performance marketing for social media (online reel required)
• Experience leading a team of creatives and helping them grow their skills, craft, and careers
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat)
• Constantly curious and passionate about social media ads that drive action, with a focus on keeping up with trends that will keep ideas and creative innovative
• A keen understanding of the needs, motivations and aspirations of our audiences to speak to them in the most effective, compelling, and engaging way possible
• Proven ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from marketing, product management, sales, market research, internal and external partners for both conceptual and tactical executions
• Strong work ethic - go the extra mile without being asked and can juggle multiple projects
• Detail-oriented self-starter - won’t just take direction, but will also collaborate to bring valuable creative input to a project
• Highly organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
