Paid Social Media Manager
We are seeking a Paid Social Media Manager to join our growing private search property’s Marketing Team. The Paid Social Media Manager will be responsible for driving the social strategy by developing breakthrough campaigns to grow the private search engine brand awareness, adoption and community engagement. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing this new role will drive digital demand using all the social media platforms and the various ad products.
The ideal candidate is a creative, analytical, and results-focused individual who has extensive experience with identifying and acquiring new customers through social media. A successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing social media performance marketing campaigns from an end to end perspective - including campaign ideation, execution, analysis, and the subsequent optimization. You have a startup mentality with the backing of a well-established company. You will understand both the art and science of social media marketing and have proven experience managing multiple campaigns and optimizing for actionable results.
The Role You Will Have
- Manage the development and execution of the paid social acquisition strategy across a portfolio of
- performance marketing campaigns including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, Instagram, and Pinterest
- Grow the private search engine brand by creating and delivering social media campaigns across platforms and to different audiences
- Determine the best balance of brand and product offering messaging for each platform to successfully reach profitability KPIs
- Analyze social media campaign results, generate insights, recommend enhancements to strategy, and structure testing framework to improve business outcomes and KPIs
- Partner with the brand and creative teams to provide recommendations on ad creative, copy, and landing pages to optimize performance for acquiring new users through social media
- Access the social media competitive and industry landscape to inform strategy, advertising creative and copy, and content development
What You Will Bring
- 2-5 years of experience driving community growth and user acquisition via social media campaigns
- Expertise using Facebook Ad Manager
- Strong understanding of the social media advertising ecosystems and keenly aware of the intricacies of the different social media platforms
- Demonstrated expertise in social media planning and buying on all the social media platforms
- Expert in developing social marketing strategies that are specific to each platform/community and the ability to demonstrate tangible ROI
- Exceptionally-detailed knowledge of social media metrics, including multi-variant testing, ROI and LTV analysis
- Excellent paid social marketing and creative instincts with a track record of driving new ideas, concepts, ad copy, content and pioneering new approaches
