Hawke Media's most popular offering is Paid Social, period. With more clients than any other department at Hawke, there's no shortage of incoming work, don't you worry! You know when you're scrolling on Instagram and you see an ad pop up for a pair of boots that you were *just* looking at? That's us.
While Facebook and Instagram are our bread and butter, we encourage anyone on our team who is interested in tapping into emerging platforms like TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, Snapchat, and LinkedIn and becoming a subject matter expert to do so. This role will use both sides of your brain-- you will be expected to be equally comfortable with the creative and analytical parts of paid social advertising. We look exclusively for self-starters when hiring for this team. In your first month you can expect to get your hands dirty and will be shadowing existing campaign managers. The ideal candidate needs to be able to seek answers on their own but knows when it's time to ask for help.
How you will contribute:

  • Support the day-to-day account management of our Paid Social clients and take full ownership on all account activities including daily client communication as well as agenda preparation, campaign optimizations, and creation of new audiences and ads.
  • Plan, develop, and implement comprehensive paid media strategies to increase brand visibility and recognition, and drive new user acquisition and leads via paid Facebook and Instagram campaigns.
  • Compiling weekly, monthly, and lifetime reports with key performance metrics in Facebook Business Manager/Tracer dashboard to quantify results and communicate findings and insights to the client.
  • Developing advertisement copy for Facebook and Instagram campaigns with the ultimate objective of generating action, interest and/or engagement from the targeted audience.
  • Recommending advertising budgets for campaign launch depending on client's business objectives, with consistent consideration for scaling the account.


Who will be successful in this role?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
  • 2+ years of paid media experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of Google Analytics and Facebook Ads Manager from an eCommerce view
  • Experience with the Google Suite [Gmail, GCal, Google Drive]
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities in a client-facing role
  • Professional and respectful demeanor in dealing with internal and external business partners
  • Effective time management in a professional setting
  • Collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Integrity and optimism, regardless of the situation
  • Use information, data, and resources to proactively identify and solve problems to get the job done
