We’re looking for a Marketing Science Researcher to join the Marketing Science Research team! As a member of the Marketing Science Research team, you will conduct in-depth first and third party data analyses to understand how Snapchatters engage with our platform, content, and advertising. Working from our New York City office, you’ll collaborate with sales leadership, business marketing, and our product teams to build data driven insights to fuel internal and external research and thought leadership.
What you’ll do:
Collaborate with our Marketing Science Partners and Measurement Product Management teams to identify opportunities to conduct custom, bespoke 1st party research to explore and validate new research methodologies and conduct experiments to prove the efficacy of our ads products.
Develop external facing strategy to share results, best practices, and white papers with external partners, including industry trade bodies and associations, academic journals, and press.
Partner with Product and Industry Research teams to create holistic analytic strategies for key global initiatives.
Provide thought leadership to internal teams for not only the output of research you conduct, but on research, measurement, and methodology at a high level.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proficiency in SQL and Tableau, or other relevant data query tools.
Proficiency with R, SPSS, or other relevant statistical packages.
Excellent written communication skills, with high attention to detail
Comprehensive understanding of digital measurement solutions (BrandLift, Offline Sales Lift, MTA, DCM, Google Analytics, Conversion Lift, MMPs, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in statistics, psychology, sociology, or other relevant social sciences, or equivalent years of experience.
8+ years of experience conducting in-depth analytics within the digital ecosystem.
Preferred Qualifications:
In-depth experience with BigQuery and Looker dashboards
Experience conducting external presentations to senior stakeholders
