The role.

Golden Hippo is currently looking for a Marketing Insights Manager who will be responsible for utilizing our data to generate actionable Marketing Insights to help the Media Teams drive incremental revenue.

What your day will look like.

  • Define key data points and how it should be organized to best generate Marketing Insights
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert for the company on media tracking best practices (UTM, S2S, GTM, GA)
  • Generate regular and Ad Hoc insights to drive incremental media spend. 
  • Report on department KPIs to the executive team as well as be able to convey these goals to anyone in the company
  • Create and maintain the company’s “Marketing Insights Playbook” to convey best practices to the media team
  • Be point of contact with vendors that augment our Analytics and Insights.
  • Serve as an ecommerce expert and the voice of the customer
  • Responsible for defining technical requirements that maximize impact on revenue, retention, and acquisition 
  • Uses data to demonstrate the return on feature sets and communicates, influences, and reviews data with executive leadership to drive decisions.
  • Responsible for creating technical user stories for the sprint teams, testing, and finally accepting the delivered solutions.

The best candidates will have.

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 2+ years experience with Analytics Platforms
  • 2+ years experience with Online Performance Media Buying 
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics required
  • Experience in SalesForce or equivalent CRM preferred
  • Excellent communication, project management and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and a drive to succeed in everything you do
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills and ability to relate results to the company's business objectives
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Have a deep interest in human psychology and copywriting.
  • Needs to learn something new every day.
  • Is a highly motivated self-starter.
  • Needs to always be solving new problems or you get bored.
