Mi Gente is a Latino social app connecting the community through music for dating and friendship intentions. 

Mi Gente is looking for a rockstar marketing director to help drive our vision and strategy. Someone who is a creative strategist with a strong pulse on the social media landscape. The ideal candidate is passionate about growth hacking new platforms and understands the intersection of culture and brand storytelling. Someone experienced with influencer outreach - but mostly someone that is content driven. 

Responsibilities Include:

Define and execute a go-to content strategy for our user community on social media outlets

Develop and post relevant content.

Identify and evaluate new opportunities for influencer collaborations.

Become the primary liaison with other influencers to define partnerships, opportunities, and collaborations.

Responsible for social media vision and strategy for the app and understands the intersection of culture and brand storytelling.

Experience we're looking for

5+ years of relevant experience in Marketing. Experience at a consumer technology company is preferred.

A strong understanding of marketing financial best practices, marketing KPIs, and marketing operation maturity models.

Strong experience with digital content

Bonus points if you have:

Someone super talented in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Communication Design and/or Motion Graphics

Knowledge of Sketch/Figma and/or other graphic design software

Proficiency in typography and layout design

Solid written and verbal communication skills

Strong portfolio of past work
