With over 10,000 online merchants launching subscriptions and over 1,000,000 subscribers powered by ReCharge we're processing tens of millions of dollars in sales every week. Our mission ‘to make repeat orders easier' began four years ago as a bootstrapped startup and today we're at the forefront of recurring billing software with nearly 100 remote-first employees around the globe.

To execute our growth strategy we’re looking for a Marketing Associate to help us support the Marketing Team. In this role you’ll be responsible for gathering assets and creating marketing materials that will support the rest of the team. You’ll be partnering closely with the Marketing Team Lead and Growth Team as a whole.

***Note: Must be locally based with the ability to spend 2-3 days per week in our Santa Monica office.***

Responsibilities

• Social media creation
  • We are active on social media on average 3+ times per week. Topics will be provided in advance. A link will usually accompany the topic, images will need to be pulled either from Dropbox or an outside website.
• Social media support
  • On Twitter and Facebook, monitor for messages and respond appropriately using background from CS.
• MailChimp emails
  • Emails will be planned in advance with enough time to schedule for send. Most emails will be our own recently published content so links and images should be readily available, may require searching Dropbox.
  • You will be required to develop captivating & on-brand copy, more long form than social media, around 50-100 words.
• Build and maintain content library
  • Our content has been published and not constantly maintained. We need to create a library of videos, guides, and other pieces that we review quarterly (or more frequently, depending on the need) to make sure they are up to date and relevant.
• Partner mentions
  • Partnerships is a major channel for growth, as such we need a running document that monitors how many times each partner is mentioned on the blog, in case studies, on social media, or other places.
• Being comfortable joining calls or screen-shares with teams to communicate solutions.
• Adaptable to new tasks assigned by the marketing project lead.

Does this sound like you?

• You have a working knowledge of social media platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
• You’re highly empathetic and can use a customer support lens to respond to issues raised via social media.
• You’re resourceful; you’re open to learning new marketing platforms and adjusting to new direction on the fly.
• You have a passion for problem solving and can do so with little oversight.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience working alongside and supporting technical teams / developers.
• A great communicator, comfortable explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work well under pressure, with a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Strong sense of urgency, ability to identify urgent issues and escalate as needed
