Education Ecosystem (LiveEdu) is seeking an experienced Head of Marketing & Analytics

About Education Ecosystem (LiveEdu)

Education Ecosystem (LiveEdu) is a decentralized learning ecosystem that teaches people how to build complete products in future technological fields. We just closed Round I of the LiveEdu ICO with $10M. We are building the YouTube for online education and professional development. You can also describe our ecosystem as the next-generation Lynda.com. Unlike existing online education platforms, LiveEdu is not focused on beginners, but mainly intermediates to experts. People learn on LiveEdu by watching how peers build real projects and can also download all project resources and files. The new LiveEdu platform is set to launch in 2018 and will start with eight main topics which encompasses several subcategories: Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Game Development, Data Science, Cryptocurrencies, Programming, Design, and Augmented and Virtual Reality. Project creators in the EDU Ecosystem will build 10,000 projects for these topics. In 2019, the ecosystem will be opened for all topics. For now we are an app blockchain company and using ERC20 smart contracts, but in 2021 we will build our own protocol. Simply put we are building the Steemit for professional development and targeting the $306 billion professional development market. Our beta product is accessible under www.liveedu.tv.

The marketing team consists of a full-time marketing assistant and technical writer. We also have some part-time external team members. The Head of Marketing & Analytics will be managing the team.


  • SEO: You have at least 3 years practical advanced organic SEO experience. You are familiar with all modern SEO analytics tools and are very strong in technical SEO. You have set up SEO from scratch before for user-generated sites and can show  your track record

  • Content Marketing: YOU HAVE EXCELLENT ENGLISH GRAMMAR WRITING SKILLS. You will not be writing a lot yourself but you will need to be in position to propose outline for new articles, proofread or give feedback on articles written by your team members. You have Wordpress blogging experience and published in the past guest articles in authoritative tech sites   

  • Social Media: You have experience with Facebook, Twitter, Reddit and Slack marketing. At least extensive experience with two channels

  • Paid Performance advertising: You have experience with setting up, running, optimizing and monitoring Display and Google Ads,

  • Newsletter marketing: You have experience with Mautic, Mailchimp or another newsletter marketing tool and have managed before an email subscriber list with 300,000 emails

  • You have strong marketing analytics skills and command Google Analytics on advance level. Very strong in cohort analysis, retention and engagement metrics tracking. Conversion optimization is your second language and you can use data and conversion optimization tools to significantly increase conversions

  • If you have technical data science skills it is a plus, but not requirement

  • Technical knowledge in some of our seven topics is a plus point: Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Game Development, Data Science, Cryptocurrencies, Programming, Design, and Augmented and Virtual Reality

  • If you have experience from Lynda, Pluralsight, Youtube or Google in the above areas we are highly interested

Job Scope

  • SEO: You will be responsible for all on-page and off-page SEO to get LiveEdu projects to rank on the top in search queries. You will be setting up SEO from scratch and measuring weekly SEO metrics. SEO rankings and competitor keyword research

  • Content Marketing: Work hand-in-hand with technical writer to generate weekly educational guest blog articles that talk about LiveEdu projects. Review and give feedback on article structure and target sites to publish on. Coordinate with marketing assistant to get weekly articles written for LiveEdu blog: http://blog.liveedu.tv. Work with marketing assistant and technical writer to get LiveEdu featured in big PR sites. You will work with your team to use content marketing as a tool for off-page link building in high authoritative sites. Referral traffic and link building analytics

  • Social Media: You will lead and draft social media marketing strategies and direct the marketing assistant to implement them to market projects in the social media channels listed above. Social marketing analytics

  • Paid Performance advertising: Display ads, Google Adwords, Facebook ads, Twitter ads, Linkdedin ads, paid newsletter, paid content marketing

  • Newsletter marketing: oversee and coordinate with marketing assistant all newsletter marketing activities (Mautic is used) going to 300,000 emails per campaign. Propose weekly viewer newsletter content and coordinate with  marketing assistant and copywriter to get drafts written and proofread. Newsletter analytics: Track newsletter open and click rates

  • Run weekly marketing analytics report and lead team call
