Given the new data and metrics available, our customers lack the capability to derive meaningful insights to transform their businesses. Marketing Science sits at the center of the VideoAmp organization in change managing our customers to help them develop their own capability to truly optimize their marketing investment towards business outcomes.
The Manager of Marketing Science will be responsible for the development of new methodologies within the cross-screen measurement space for tying media investment to business outcomes. This entails targeting key decision makers at our clients, understanding their critical capability gaps to propose VideoAmp’s solutions that close new opportunities and growing existing business related to Marketing Effectiveness and Transformation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with highly skilled client and VideoAmp internal teams throughout the project lifecycle by leveraging VideoAmp’s approaches to transform our customers’ business to the new way of transacting media.
- Be a data expert that can create new analysis for Fortune 500 marketers and their agencies about their marketing investment portfolio to improve campaign efficiency and increase sales, this includes but not limited to, investment allocation, audience strategy, in-flight optimization and cross-screen measurement.
- Work with Product and Engineering to continue to build competitive advantages for VideoAmp’s data offering
- Lead actionable insights and recommendations grounded in big data and analysis that drives business outcome.
- Compiling insightful presentations, dashboards, and analytic outputs that influence media decisions
- Drive the industry transformation to the new way of planning, transacting and measuring marketing effectiveness
- Be an integral part in how we innovate around methodologies to drive product development decisions around the customer experience on how our solutions and software can drive our customers’ business outcomes through optimizing their marketing investment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Core Tech Skills: SQL, Tableau, Excel, PPT, G-suites; R/Python is nice to have
- Experience within Media agency or client media responsibilities
- Some vertical experience
- Analytics background with demonstrated results
- Ability to tell a story with data that changes a client’s behaviors
- History working with cross-functional task forces and driving change within an organization
- 3+ years of experience is required
