We’re seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Strategist with entrepreneurial drive who’s looking to take on the challenge of a fast-paced and innovative multi-solution marketing program. Join a dynamic team of marketing professionals, and take ownership of lifecycle communications planning and execution. Bring your knowledge of strategy and best practices to improve how we do, and what we do, to better communicate to our SimplePractice subscribers and customers.

What you'll do day-to-day

  • Identify and evaluate potential customer lifecycle stage and business KPI focus
  • Identify strengths and opportunities in customer base, leveraging targeted marketing programs and planning customer communications programs to deliver adoption, engagement and consideration.
  • Act as subject matter expert on lifecycle marketing and CRM for the business, partnering cross-divisionally to ensure consistent program operations and implementation
  • Work closely with marketing, product, analytics and technology teams to provide guidance and prioritization on new functionality needed, for internal systems and 3rd-party tools
  • Ensure all creative communications developed and produced to support the lifecycle strategies are in line with the customer type, branding and value statements
  • Partner with cross-functional and cross-business teams to analyze business and marketing data to identify key drivers, mechanics and associated dependencies for driving customer acquisition, engagement retention
  • Effectively translate analytics into clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • Forecast results from various tactics and advocate for resource prioritization
  • Articulate lifecycle marketing strategy and communicate results to key stakeholders; executive presentations on the program approaches and results will be required

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience in loyalty, lifecycle and CRM strategy using analytics and data-driven insights
  • Excellent analytical skills are required as well as verbal presentation and written communication skills.
  • Experience with marketing automation and related technologies
  • Experience with campaign reporting, analysis and optimization

Josh Keegan Gross’ tech stack includes Ruby on Rails on the backend and Ember.js on the frontend. “Both are opinionated frameworks which take time to learn but allow engineers to complete feature work faster and with more code integrity,” he said. The team has been working on a new project to SimplePractice — a searchable platform of clinicians called the Monarch Directory. “This is a big new direction for us and the impact is huge,” said Keegan Gross. “Allowing people to more easily find and connect with a therapist adds a lot of value to our clinicians, company and the public at large.”

Engineers are invited to demo new technologies at lunch-and-learns and our weekly meetings regularly feature demos of something new we’re using in our stack.
