We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to join Team Snapchat! As a member of the Marketing team, you will be responsible for planning and executing performance marketing campaigns on- and off-Snapchat that drives growth of our community and engagement with Snapchat and our various consumer products. Working from our Los Angeles, CA headquarters, you will collaborate with partners across our company, including growth, product, and communications teams, to develop strategies and plans in support of our marketing and business goals.
Ideally, you’re a performance marketing expert who understands how to use digital channels to drive significant, measurable results, at ease working in a fast moving and ambiguous environment in which you will simultaneously lead multiple projects with a variety of partners, and showcase excellent problem solving and communication skills, in order to drive impact across different teams. You will use your market knowledge as well as mine research and data for insights to inform marketing strategies and plans. Working with cross-functional teams, you will coordinate performance marketing efforts to grow awareness, understanding, adoption, and engagement for a variety of Snapchat products globally.What you’ll do:
Own the process start to finish for crafting strategy, development, testing frameworks, execution, and analysis of performance marketing plans, including organic and paid campaigns, both on- and off-Snapchat
Collaborate with the Consumer Insights team to deeply understand the Snapchat community, our various audiences, and our brand
Partner with the media and growth teams to develop performance-driven media plans that deliver our message effectively
Work closely with the Analytics and Data Science teams to monitor, analyze, and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make real-time optimization and forward-looking recommendations
Synthesize learnings into meaningful insights to shape plans and report findings and best practices to cross-functional teams
Develop positioning and messaging for select consumer products and features to be featured in performance campaigns, considering value proposition, target audience, competitive landscape, and other factors
Audit the competitive landscape, understand target markets, and identify insights to inform campaign strategies and go-to-market activities
Lead by influence and collaborate with internal and external creative teams to bring campaigns, programs, and assets to life
Manage and work with cross-functional teams (including design, external agencies, product, and growth partners) to deliver exceptional performance marketing communications for a range of initiatives
Develop and oversee measurement dashboard for marketing initiatives (e.g., reach/awareness, user behavior, efficiency, and sentiment metrics) in conjunction with consumer insights, growth, comms, data science and marketing science teams
Highly data-driven, using insights to frame recommendations and results into concise and actionable reports
Ethically-driven growth marketing with validated results
Advanced decision-making skills with proven ability to lead, influence, align, and inspire multiple teams and partners
Think strategically and also drive forward tactical execution
Exemplary project management skills, with strong ability to balance multiple priorities in a lean and demanding work environment
Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt, working effectively with a team
Bachelor's degree in marketing, strategy, business, communications or equivalent experience
9+ years consumer marketing experience
Prior direct responsibility for developing and coordinating insights-led, impactful paid and organic performance marketing campaigns
Delivering results that achieve business objectives
Deep understanding of communications apps and the relevant ecosystem
Experience working directly with creatives, product, and communications teams to partner on campaigns. Able to guide creative input, development, and execution from concept to completion
