Overview 

As a Growth Marketing Manager at Cover and an early member of the team, you’ll play a pivotal role in making thoughtfully designed and well-built homes for everyone by communicating Cover’s mission, process, and product to the world.

 

Role 

  • You'll work closely with Cover's leadership to clearly communicate Cover's mission, process, and product to relevant audiences. We focus on meaningful interactions and communication.
  • You will be responsible for generating quality leads at the top of the funnel via paid and organic acquisition where you will be tracking, testing, and optimizing our customer acquisition marketing mix.
  • You will oversee and collaborate with others to execute other marketing areas such as email, content, brand, partnerships, and design.
  • You will update the team on key metrics that generate revenue and provide strategic recommendations for growth.
  • You will have a high amount of responsibility and autonomy, and will be expected to own and perfect all elements of Cover's marketing.

 

Experience 

  • 4 + years in a marketing role with a high degree of responsibility, preferably at a startup or high-growth company (b2c customer acquisition of one-time or other large purchases especially relevant).
  • Proven track record of creating and managing measurably successful paid digital campaigns campaigns from scratch.
  • Experience developing content that generates engagement and top of the funnel growth.

  • General:
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high growth environment
    • Ability to solve challenging problems both independently and as part of a team
  • Marketing strategy:
    • Ability to understand and clearly communicate Cover’s mission
    • Ability to refine brand and positioning based on campaign performance
    • Able to effectively communicate value to different audiences
  • Customer acquisition:
    • Able to manage, analyze, and make data-driven acquisition decisions
    • Technical proficiency with Facebook and Google AdWord marketing channels
    • Familiarity with CRM, email drip campaigns, search, partnerships, referrals and other growth tactics
    • Ability to research and test new growth channelsAn obsessive attention to detail
  • General marketing:
    • Masterful writer, with an ability to create engaging original content and copy, and communicate product features in a compelling way to customers (playbooks, scripts, checklists and other sales content)
    • Strong verbal and visual communication
    • Strong UI, UX, and aesthetic instincts, and an ability to work with designers to create extraordinary visual experiences
