FabFitFun Style is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist with a strong technical background, and an incredible work ethic. This role requires a passion for digital, a deep understanding of email marketing campaign lifecycles, and a love of all things fashion, beauty, and editorial.

The Email Marketing Specialist will be instrumental in assisting the Creative Director in managing email campaigns end to end, identifying opportunities and challenges within the parent company marketing initiatives to ensure synchronicity across channels and maximize conversion on email campaigns. This candidate will work with the team to develop, manage, and optimize eye-catching and effective lifecycle, transactional, and promotional email campaigns. The ideal candidate is well-rounded, can generate innovative ideas to increase conversion/revenue and must have a background in email marketing and segmentation.

What You’ll Do:

• Support our Style marketing team in driving customer acquisition and retention
• Own the lifecycle of email campaigns, weekly CRM and acquisition
• Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements
• Provide insights on ways to maximize brand exposure across marketing channels and translate analysis into usable campaign initiatives
• Utilize segmentation tools to develop databases for lead generation and increase customer engagement and retention.
• Assist in the development of email marketing strategies in promotional, transactional, and highly targeted trigger campaigns across the customer lifecycle
• Work closely with cross departmental team members to ensure email assets fulfill channel objectives and deliver on brand look, tone, and feel
• Evaluate and optimize email creation process alongside internal team members
• Collaborate with Creative Director to build and manage the marketing calendar to ensure synchronicity across business channels to avoid customer email fatigue and increase engagement.
• Maintain and update all email performance reporting in real time
• Identify target audience and grow our email list
• Proofread emails for clarity, grammar and spelling
• Ensure mobile-friendly email templates
• Draft messaging for email communications
• Stay up to date on current trends and best practices within email marketing
• Contribute new innovative ideas towards the growth of FabFitFun Style
• Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices

What You’ll Bring:

• 3-5 years of experience working directly in email marketing (B2C/subscription model preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, or Communications
• Proficiency in marketing automation technology (preferably Iterable)
• Exposure or familiarity with automated drip campaigns
• Familiarity with HTML and content management systems, analytical tools and databases
• Organized, detail oriented, and a creative problem solver
• Has effective copywriting and copy editing skills
• Proficiency in AP Style
• Strong Excel and Google Suite skills
• Ability to work effectively, meet deadlines, and switch gears comfortably in a fast­-moving startup environment
• Self-starter who can manage and track the production process for all designs
• A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
• Strong project management skills
