Ring is looking for a wildly talented, multi-faceted Editor to create ads, promos, channel marketing videos, social content, and other video projects. Reporting to the Global Head of Production in our Santa Monica office, candidate must be a self-starter, able to handle the entire post production process, writing and crafting narratives around existing assets and various team needs. Candidates will be asked to oversee multiple projects at once in various stages, so being able to multi-task is key. Must have obsessive attention to detail, an outgoing, team-first personality, and the ability to think on your feet.

What You'll Do
- Research, plan, and edit original short-form video content, independently and alongside members from various teams
- Conceptualize creative videos using entrepreneurial thinking and a can-do attitude
- Write scripts, procure voiceovers, and drive video projects through delivery
- Edit compelling narratives with clever use of audio and graphics
- Deliver polished videos on tight schedules
- Experiment with new formats of short-form storytelling, looking to test and “push the envelope” for what digital video can do on social
- Assist global teams in creation of video assets for other territories
- Design and incorporate attractive graphics packages
- Locate, hire and manage third party GFX, VFX and audio vendors as needed
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media, Journalism, Communications, or related field experience
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, color grading, audio/video file formats
- 5+ years of experience creating compelling video content for broadcast, internet, and retail channels
- Ability to craft scripts, and see projects through the editing process
- A smart, clever voice, and an eye for interesting/unique content opportunities
- Experience integrating onscreen text and graphics and writing copy around existing assets
- Well versed in various post-production workflows, file management, organization, and archivingCapable of juggling multiple deadlines, quick turnarounds and working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sense of narrative is a must, as is an interest in technology and security products
- Fluency with camera workflows, offline and online processes and a working knowledge of production world
- Positive attitude with an entrepreneurial, can-do approach
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
