Who you are:

We are seeking a Director of SEO Marketing who can leverage SEO best practices to drive new customer growth. You will be a strategic thinker who will create, execute, and optimize the SEO strategy for immediate and long-term SEO growth. You will prioritize initiatives to grow natural search in terms of traffic, customer engagement, and sales. You will be an SEO expert with the ability to drive SEO projects across the enterprise. You will be a key player in our growing company and report directly to the executive team. You will work closely with the other Directors in the Marketing team, as well as, other cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, and Sales.

Responsibilities:

• Create, plan, and execute on SEO strategies based on SEO best practices, key performance drivers, and that align with and achieve company goals
• Develop and continually optimize the SEO strategy for immediate, sustainable, and long-term growth
• Work with other members in marketing, product, and technology to plan and execute strategies designed to drive organic traffic and grow revenue
• Conduct SEO and traffic data analysis, including keyword and competitive research
• Monitor, report, and maintain documentation of SEO performance
• Monitor, report and improve on conversion rates for organic traffic
• Define and set SEO KPIs and reports that can be delivered to the executive team on an ad hoc and regular basis
• Serve as the company’s SEO expert, stay ahead of the trends, strategies and tactics within SEO and digital marketing and communicate these to the team

Requirements:

• 3 to 7 years of active/hands-on SEO experience
• Self-driven and comfortable in a fast-changing, dynamic environment with ambitious schedules and plans
• Experience with SEO best practices, key performance drivers, analysis and ranking factors, tracking and reporting tools, and algorithms
• Experience with SEO keyword research and site audits
• Experience quantifying marketing and SEO impact, and creating alignment with overall business goals/initiatives
• Scope and manage technical projects, while communicating needs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Deeply quantitative and analytical with strong problem-solving skills in the digital marketing space
• Advanced experience with MS Excel and web analytics software
• Working knowledge of common programming languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, etc.)
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
