Job Description:
We are looking for an analytical, growth focused marketing leader to build Aspiration’s customer base with a focus on large scale data-driven customer acquisition. Strategy and execution will leverage Aspiration’s unique mission as a “banking and investment firm with a conscience" that is built for everyone. This position reports to the VP of Marketing.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and implement new paid marketing strategies, campaigns, and channels to drive growth while reducing payback period
  • Think outside the box to come up with highly effective and innovative campaigns that leverage our unique mission-focused brand
  • Lead the execution of data-driven tests to determine the viability of new strategies
  • Work with channel leads to optimize SEM, mobile, Facebook, and other digital channels
  • Evaluate results and make data-driven recommendations to senior executives
  • Ensure that brand messaging and identity are reflected across the entire customer journey
  • Develop solutions that span multiple business goals, from awareness and acquisition through to referral
  • Work with internal creative teams and agencies as necessary to deliver world class marketing campaigns
  • Explore the potential of a range of emerging and established/offline channels, driven by a keen understanding of the customer journey

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years experience working with a leading consumer-focused technology startup or fast-moving, innovative brands
  • 2-3 years experience leading a digital marketing team
  • Familiarity working with both internal creative/design teams and external agencies (creative, strategy and media buying)
  • Familiar with data & analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Looker and Mixpanel
