THE JOB:

RepairSmith is looking for an experienced lifecycle marketer to join our rapidly growing team.

 

Your goal will be to architect a robust lifecycle marketing framework, partnering with marketing, design, engineering, and product to deliver an exceptional and personalized experience to drive and engage our growing community. 

 

You'll be expected to leverage domain experience, surface actionable data-driven insights, think creatively and design ongoing methodical testing, to improve and optimize customer engagement across channels - beginning with email and SMS. 

WE WILL DEPEND ON THIS PERSON TO:

  • Building out a lifecycle approach to email & SMS marketing, targeting key behaviors in the customer’s consideration journey. 
  • Architecting the overall customer journey with the intent to maximize retention and customer LTV’s. This includes on-boarding-, lead drip, win-back and any other relevant campaigns to fulfill said goals for email and SMS. 
  • Set clear objectives for both short-term revenue and long-term program development, with a clear measurement and testing plan. 
  • Building, QAing, and deploying all outgoing communications over email, push, and SMS. 
  • Knowledge of email & SMS strategy and best practices including subject lines, messaging, segmentation, list management, deliverability and CAN-SPAM laws. 
  • Monitor, track and report all email & SMS marketing campaigns (including open rates, conversion etc.) and develop test campaigns to leverage new initiatives and increase conversion. 
  • Lead cross functional efforts for how the look and feel of our email & SMS templates evolve in line with broader brand evolution. 
  • Work closely with paid marketing team to create campaigns that re-engage and activate users acquired through paid channels. 
  • Design and execute a rigorous A/B testing agenda to understand and enhance marketing effectiveness.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • At least 8-10 years in digital marketing working across different digital channels with a focus on Email and SMS Marketing. 
  • Must have experience working on mobile app communications including push notifications and marketing controlled in-app messages 
  • Demonstrated track record of generating innovative content and campaigns that exceed target goals 
  • A strong problem-solving track record - you’re able to think critically through unique problems with no set playbook and quickly implement a path to a solution, and you can toggle effortlessly between big-picture strategy and in-the-weeds tactical problem-solving. 
  • Excellent marketing copywriting skills for B2B and B2C. 
  • Experience within ecommerce is required. 
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and excellent at multitasking. 
  • Excels in project management and communication. Works collaboratively to build relationships and achieve goals with business partners. 
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS. 
  • Experience with major ESP’s and vendors like Return Path for email deliverability.
