Responsibilities:
- Create and execute the overall digital marketing strategy to ensure that lead and revenue targets are met or exceeded.
- Responsibility for meeting the overall lead targets by sales group, including international territories.
- Manage a team of Digital Marketing direct reports that handle all of BlackLine's digital marketing, including BlackLine's prospect facing search and display advertising, social networking and advertising, email marketing, webinars, content syndication and other digital content channels.
- Managing and working with a team of Program Managers to develop and build integrated digital marketing campaigns.
- Working with International teams to plan and execute their digital marketing strategies.
- Devising strategies to drive quality online traffic to the company website, and tracking and optimizing conversion rates of that traffic, including improving the usability, design, and content of the website.
- Ensure user data is captured in line with our CRM and data management strategies and that the storage and use of it complies with Data Protection laws.
- Overseeing and assisting in the optimization of search, display, and social advertising.
- Overseeing and directing the social media strategy for the company.
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and touch points.
- Budgetary control and oversite of all digital marketing efforts, including responsibility for staying within annual budgets.
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing efforts and campaigns, including assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Reviewing new technologies to keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar digital marketing role
- Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
- Thorough, nuanced understanding of statistics and metrics governing digital marketing
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM system
- Proficiency in Marketo or other similar marketing automation platform
- Exhibit a high level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment and professionalism
- Be a self-starter with solid organizational and planning skills
- Must be competitive and focused on achieving goals
- Must be a team player and collaborate well across departments
- Experience with marketing attribution is a plus. Experience with Bizible is a huge plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
