As the Director of Communications, reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll help build our company’s reputation strategy from the ground up, and have a real impact on our business.


The ideal candidate for this position is someone who will have both a data driven and creative approach to building reputation, complemented by a deep understanding of the business.

What you’ll get to do

  • Lead all day-to-day operations of our PR program and execute a media strategy that will help our organization to grow
  • Oversee the execution of our owned social media strategy that increases our reach, engages customers, carriers, and conveys our brand values
  • Oversee the launch and operation of an employee advocacy program so that we can extend our reach into our employee’s networks and help to continue to hire top talent across all departments

What success looks like in this role

  • 3+ years in a leadership role that included managing and mentoring a team
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B and B2C public relations and social media, either in an agency or company environment
  • Strong network of reporters at influential media companies 
  • Highly attuned to industry trends through continual research
  • Ability to succeed with minimal guidance in ambiguous circumstances
  • Avid self-educator who’s constantly consuming resources on how to lead teams and be a better manager Strong accountability, work ethic, sense of urgency with zero entitlement
  • Excellent general communication, people and problem resolution skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) is preferred but not required
