Chef’d is looking for a Digital Content Manager to create and manage digital content across all channels. Specific content creation responsibilities include: recipe cards, website, email and social media campaigns, promotions, and general content support across the business. Position will work in conjunction with our marketing technology team to optimize content value, targeting and segmentation, and manage the overall content calendar. This role will be responsible for creating a uniform voice and message across the Chef’d brand and work in partnership with multiple teams across the business. This position will be very food oriented and need to have a good understanding of all things culinary. If you want to create great content about amazing food, this is your huckleberry. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute ecommerce oriented content in conjunction with Chef’d partnerships
  • Create content in conjunction with data marketing team
  • Define Chef’d voice, create guidelines, enforce adherence.
  • Manage content calendar and release schedules
  • Write and edit creative promotional concepts that align with Chef’d marketing/sales objectives.
  • Support the marketing department staff with project work, research and reporting.
  • Develop promotional strategy for new bookings revenue, product and partner announcements and ensure tracking requirements are implemented for all promotions.
  • Assist in creating and updating marketing materials, including copywriting.
  • Facilitate the fulfilment of promotional offers in a timely manner for main website offers as well as affiliates and other channels.
  • Work closely with design, email and ad ops to create and execute effective promotional messaging aligning with campaign objectives.
  • Perform analysis on content effectiveness and drive creation & recommendations based on these results.
  • Study competitive landscape from a promotional aspect and continually looks for new promotional ideas to test.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant marketing experience creating & managing content at company or agency in an ecommerce focused capacity.
  • Professional experience creating food based content
  • Experience with emails, blogs, social media, website content
  • Writing background with a solid portfolio of blogs, emails, and long form marketing samples
  • A solid understanding of marketing principles and communication tactics including various forms of digital/social marketing.
  • Ability to use metrics to track performance of promotions.
  • Prior experience with digital promotions is a MUST.
