Responsibilities

About the Team: TikTok's mission is to inspire and enrich people's lives by offering a home for creative expression and an experience that is genuine, joyful, and positive. TikTok's Brand team helps ensure we're delivering on this mission through all of our marketing and communication efforts, helping set the brand tone and bring the brand story to life through constant marketing innovation across advertising, digital engagement and social storytelling. We're looking for a Brand Director that can partner with a diverse team of highly skilled marketing and functional experts to help bring us beyond toward our insatiable brand ambitions. Responsibilities: - Articulating and driving the brand strategy as TikTok continues to grow and evolve in the US market - Overseeing brand and segment marketing programs across significant and innovative marketing channels while localizing and executing against global brand efforts - Partner with data insights to define / refine strategic campaign opportunities working towards brand positioning goals - Develop and cultivate cross-functional relationships across teams - Track brand performance using internal and external information and define how to affect performance

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications: - 8+ years of experience working on global brands, and you have proven expertise in developing brand strategies, brand marketing that encompasses a broad range of marketing and messaging vehicles w/ a strong digital/social foundation - Prior management experience leading projects and a team - High-level thinker with strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence - Multi-tasking capabilities, with ability to project manage and/or work on a variety of different projects and workstreams at one time - Strong people skills, diplomacy and collaborative spirit - Ability to learn and adapt quickly and work in a very fast moving, constantly evolving environment, making judgment calls and shifts as needed - Capable of understanding challenges or underlying concerns and develop effective responses or elevate to higher management
