AirMap is seeking an inquisitive and ambitious marketing professional to join our high-impact, results-driven marketing and communications team. The Associate Product Marketing Manager is responsible for bringing AirMap’s innovative products and services to life. You’ll work alongside our Product and Sales teams to design, execute, and maintain product marketing assets, including product descriptions, slides decks, competitive intelligence, and more, and support go-to-market activations for new market launches.

This position is located in Santa Monica, CA, and will report to the Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Be a Product Expert: Be intimately familiar with AirMap’s products and services. Be comfortable training other team members on our product offerings.
• Prepare Product Marketing Assets: Help design and execute product marketing collateral that tells the AirMap story in a meaningful way to our customers. Ensure all product marketing collateral is kept up-to-date with the latest features and benefits
• Own Event Marketing Strategy: Lead day-to-day execution of AirMap’s go-to-market strategy for industry events and conferences, including sponsorships, speaking engagements, and social events.
• Conduct Competitive Intelligence: Research competitive solutions within our industry and expose areas of opportunity for AirMap.
• Support Research Initiatives: Support market research initiatives to test and validate new product offers and identify AirMap’s unique value propositions.
• Build Reports: Partner with Operations team to measure and analyze the success of our product marketing programs. Share results with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• 2+ years professional work experience in marketing, product, or customer-facing role.
• Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Aeronautical Science, or related field.
• Familiarity with drones, aviation, aerospace, GIS, SaaS, or related field.

• Creative self-starter who can identify opportunities and takes initiative to solve problems
• Critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to leverage relevant experience from past roles in managing and executing projects from start to finish
• Detail-oriented with excellent written, and verbal communications and proven ability to make clear, convincing presentations to audiences at all levels.
• Strong project management, interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt and execute in a dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to act as both individual contributor and team player to add value to strategic marketing plan.
• Ability and willingness to travel occasionally in support of media activities, trade shows and requirements.
• Product marketing experience at a tech company is a plus
• Experience with Google Apps Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Spreadsheets, and Presentations) is a plus
