Are you ready to make a digital impact? We need you to be accountable for all day-to-day Paid Social operations and be the main point of contact on an account. You'll provide strategic direction and leadership in our digital group to deliver the most effective and innovative communication plans and manage the career paths of supporting staff within the Paid Social team.

Responsibilities:

Plan Development and Maintenance

· Formulate paid social strategy for client businesses and ensure that recommendations and decisions are consistent with client's objectives and strategies

· Assume lead role in integration social efforts and demonstrate full understanding of client's businesses

· Present innovative, business building, and dare we say 'breakthrough' social recommendations

Team Management and Leadership

· Lead Associates and/or Managers in thinking strategically about paid social's role within the media mix and help our teams define tactical game plans to set social strategies and media plans to address client needs

· Accurately, objectively and constructively evaluate performance of Associate(s) and/or Manager(s) via talent development process

· Facilitate the development and documentation of standard methodologies for improving operational efficiencies within the team and the group

· Get involved in financial aspects of the account budget, staffing, projections, etc.

· Partner with the Central GroupM TA Team. Assist in interviewing, hiring, training, mentoring, developing, and evaluating team members

Account Management

· Provide stewardship advising on all paid social matters that fall within our scope

· Coordinate the work of the [m]Platform disciplines, industry groups and media partners; assist with integration of other client and GroupM agencies

· Provide support to regional offices and/or partners, where applicable

· Maintain and encourage an open environment for the media partners to approach [m]Platform teams first with opportunities and innovations

· Participate in Agency / departmental task forces, project work and new business for GroupM organizational impact

· Keep senior management apprised of key client opportunities, potential risks and other key nuances which affect the health of the business

Qualifications:

· A minimum of 4-5 years of relevant Paid Social experience or related media planning experience required, with focus on team leadership and management

· In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences (Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)

· Experience with CMS platforms, 3rd Party API technology, Native UIs (i.e. Facebook Power Editor)

· Significant client-facing and relationship management experience required

· Prior experience managing a team an important requirement; demonstrate ability to train and grow junior members, serving as coach and mentor

· Prior experience in an agency environment highly desired

· Working knowledge of Paid Search a plus
